Minimum 20 gallon tank with temperature 76–84°F and pH 7.5–8.5. Use a reliable heater and test kit.
Good filtration is essential. Provide appropriate substrate and hiding spots with driftwood or rocks.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore — algae wafers, blanched vegetables, calcium-rich foods. Feed 1-2 times daily, only what can be consumed in 2-3 minutes.
