Overview
Assassin snails are the natural pest snail control solution. They hunt and eat bladder snails, pond snails, Malaysian trumpet snails, and ramshorn snails. They breed slowly (unlike pest snails), have attractive yellow and dark brown striped shells, and are safe with fish and shrimp.
Tank Setup
Provide a tank of at least 10 gallons with appropriate filtration and heating.
Water Parameters
- Temperature: 70–80°F
- pH: 6.5–8.0
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore — other snails, frozen bloodworms, sinking pellets. Feed small amounts twice daily.
